India-Canada air bubble opens for travel to Canada

  Air travel between India and Canada is reportedly back to normal as the national airlines of both countries resume service. According to the Director General of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), an Indian with a valid visa may now fly to Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates under the terms of the bubble agreement. Adding Canada to the list of nations with whom India has formed air bubbles or similar agreements is the most recent addition to the list. India has established bilateral aviation corridors with seven countries, including the Maldives and the United Arab Emirates. However, even though these air bubbles guarantee that individuals may now go overseas or visit India, they will still be subject to necessary testing and quarantine laws established by their destination nations.
